1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions apply to all online English lessons provided by English With Us (englishwithus.co.uk). By booking lessons or purchasing a package, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

  • Lessons are delivered online via agreed platforms (e.g. Zoom, WeChat)
  • All lessons are tailored to the student’s level and learning goals.
  • Lesson length and package details are as stated at the time of booking.

3. Free Lesson

  • All new students receive one free initial session after booking and paying for a package.
  • This session includes a level assessment and discussion of a personalised learning plan.

4. Booking & Payment

  • Lessons or packages must be paid for in advance.
  • Payment is made via approved methods listed on the website.
  • Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received.

5. Lesson Packages & Validity

  • Lesson packages are valid for a fixed period, as stated at the time of purchase.
  • Any unused lessons after the validity period may be forfeited.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Students may reschedule lessons with at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be counted as used..
  • If the Tutor needs to reschedule, an alternative time will be offered.

7. Transfers

  • Lesson packages may be transferred to another person upon written request and approval.
  • Transfers do not extend the original validity period.

8. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase.
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing.
  • Refunds will be issued for unused lessons only.
  • No refunds will be issued after the 30-day period.

9. Student Responsibilities

  • Students are expected to attend lessons on time.
  • A stable internet connection and suitable learning environment are the student’s responsibility.

10. Tutor Responsibilities

  • The Tutor will deliver lessons professionally and on time.
  • The Tutor will provide reasonable notice for any changes.

11. Liability

  • The Tutor is not liable for:
    • Technical issues outside their control
    • Loss of internet connection on the student’s side
  • Liability is limited to the value of the lessons purchased.

12. Data Protection

  • Personal information is handled in accordance with UK data protection laws.
  • Details will only be used for lesson administration and communication.

13. Changes to Terms

  • These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time.
  • The latest version will always be available on the website.

14. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales
